Grace's Story
Grace is a 9-year old black Lab. She was born outside of Baltimore, Maryland, one of a litter of 11 puppies!  My Lab, Ranger, had just passed away at age 13, and I knew I needed another Lab, and fast. I found this litter of Lab pups and drove down to meet them. I invited my sister, Ann and her family who lived nearby to go with me. What we found were 5 virtually indistinguishable black balls of fur. The only way to tell them apart was by the different color drop of nail polish on each pup's front nails. I decided on Grace because she seemed so sweet. As we were about to leave I heard my nephews exclaim "We love her" holding another ball of black fur. Two pups went home that day: Grace and her sister, Kate. They remain good friends today.

At School

Grace loves going to school.  She is a bit of a class clown. She will roll in funny positions on her back: I think it is for attention. And, while she knows how to do virtually any command or trick, she will decide to do something else to make everyone laugh. One student said she likes Grace because "sometimes she just doesn't listen."  
 

Free Time

In addition to going to school Grace has also visited in hospitals. Her favorite thing in the world is playing fetch with a tennis ball.
